After 18 played minutes Atletico Calamar Saavedra got a freekick which was hit by Horymír Arnošt. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Serginho Silva took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Tomás Haritz to make any attempt to save it. 22 minutes into the game, Andres Frantzes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Utracán's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Calamar Saavedra the free kick. A collision led to Utracán getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Andres Frantzes hit a great ball. Tomás Haritz made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Ruperto Txomin sent off a good shot on target. Utracán's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Epifanio Koldobika scored to the left of an out of position Tomás Haritz, making the score, 7-0. After some careless play in the Utracán defense, Jeronimo Birila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomás Haritz. The Utracán fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomás Haritz should have stopped the shot. Angel Baraquiel kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Utracán got a freekick which was hit by Andres Frantzes. Tomás Haritz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Esiquio in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 9-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saverio Tallia to make the kick off. Jeronimo Birila blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomás Haritz having to make a save. Danilo Florinio hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match.
