Victorino Peake might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Avram Golescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victorino Peake ran back to his position shaking his head. 12 minutes into the match, Victorino Peake notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Scorpions -MM-'s Avram Golescu. Avram Golescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Avram Golescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Peake in the 18th minute of the match. After 19th play minutes Victorino Peake shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Avram Golescu and just under the crossbar into goal. Serbülent Baysan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Ţintă in the 27th minute of play. Avram Golescu came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Victorino Peake. But to his dismay, Victorino Peake quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Costel Ţintăs short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Serbülent Baysan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 38 minutes into the game, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Victorino Peake nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Avram Golescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Serbülent Baysan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radomir Zieba in the 42nd minute. 47 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Astudillo came free, but Avram Golescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half FC Anderlecht Huachipato were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Costel Ţintă made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Scorpions -MM-'s zone, Victorino Peake stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Avram Golescu came out of the goal and Victorino Peake tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucero Liendo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Felix Txilar was substituted for Maximino Astudillo. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Eufemio Ehijo was substituted for Vitaliy Fedchenko. Thanks to some nice moves Felix Txilar could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Avram Golescu however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Txilar in the 66th minute of play forced Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Avram Golescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihai Stoleru's late challenge caught a FC Anderlecht Huachipato's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mihai Stoleru helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Anderlecht Huachipato booed when Scorpions -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihai Stoleru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eufemio Ehijo came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Avram Golescu could save by the left post. 72 minutes into the match, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's goal looked a bit too open when Radomir Zieba came free, but Serbülent Baysan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Avram Golescu was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Eufemio Ehijo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eufemio Ehijo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7.
