A collision led to Nova Soccer getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Morgan Mišković hit a great ball. Nova Soccer's Maurilio Duque proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Nova Soccer from getting a goal against them. Morgan Mišković charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Morgan Mišković the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Morgan Mišković kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Baumar Ontanilla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maurilio Duque. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Nova Soccer's Favila Villaren got a free kick in the 15th minute. With a little luck, Nova Soccer's Maurilio Duque got control of the ball when Vitaliy Fedchenko tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 18 minutes Nova Soccer's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hernán Diaz who took care of the corner kick. Vitaliy Fedchenko's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Maurilio Duque firmly grabbed it by the left post. Vitaliy Fedchenko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Maurilio Duque made a huge save. Nova Soccer's Maurilio Duque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Peake in the 27th minute of play. Baumar Ontanilla hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Maurilio Duque made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vitaliy Fedchenko in the 32nd minute. Serbülent Baysan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piero Quispe in the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Nova Soccer's Nemanja Vidic got a free kick in the 36th minute. Nova Soccer's Maurilio Duque proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Nova Soccer from getting a goal against them. Serbülent Baysan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donat Collier in the 40th minute of the match. Serbülent Baysan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piero Quispe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Victorino Peake shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurilio Duque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Nova Soccer's Piero Quispe in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Anderlecht Huachipato's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Steve Hyuga got free with Serbülent Baysan in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Serbülent Baysan was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Piero Quispe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Piero Quispe really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. FC Anderlecht Huachipato made a substitution. Felix Txilar replaced Maximino Astudillo. Arrigo Dorigatti charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arrigo Dorigatti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Anderlecht Huachipato booed when Nova Soccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemanja Vidic didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorino Peake in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurilio Duque saved Nova Soccer from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandrino Gameiro in the 74th minute of play forced Nova Soccer's goalkeeper Maurilio Duque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurilio Duque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eufemio Ehijo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Maurilio Duque stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandrino Gameiro's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 80th minute Julio Cachero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurilio Duque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Felix Txilar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Maria Cossio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 83 minutes into the match. Eufemio Ehijo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Maurilio Duque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute Nova Soccer were awarded a corner. Zenaido Aramoyana went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 94th minute Felix Txilar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurilio Duque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute, Felix Txilar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
