TunaFC's Volkan Demirel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chet Baker in the 15th minute of play. Cláudio-André Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faruk Nafiz Tutuş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Sandu Cenușă made a precise shot to the right of Volkan Demirel. TunaFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Sandu Cenușă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Volkan Demirel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute of the match TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA - got a corner. TunaFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sandu Cenușă ran over to the corner to take the kick. A hard shot 24 in the game by Sandu Cenușă from a close distance when the talented Volkan Demirel managed to make a qualified save. TunaFC's players were relieved. Sandu Cenușă who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Volkan Demirel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Volkan Demirel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandu Cenușă, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Cláudio-André Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ortzi Calzado in the 34th minute of play. TunaFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA - the free kick. A collision led to TunaFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Uche Okechukwu hit a great ball. After 45 played minutes TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA - got a freekick which was hit by Çelik Özdoğan. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Faruk Nafiz Tutuş to strike the kick off in the second half. TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA - were awarded a corner in the 51th minute after TunaFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sandu Cenușă took the corner. TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA -'s Cosmin Cluceru was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Volkan Demirel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 53 minutes into the match, TunaFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sandu Cenușă came free, but Volkan Demirel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Volkan Demirel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sandu Cenușă's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Volkan Demirel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandu Cenușă in the 59th minute of play. Volkan Demirel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandu Cenușă in the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA -'s Emir Dağasan got a free kick in the 81st minute. Faruk Nafiz Tutuş's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Cláudio-André Taffarel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. TunaFC's Volkan Demirel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Cenușă in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Faruk Nafiz Tutuş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Volkan Demirel came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA -'s Cosmin Cluceru. But to his dismay, Cosmin Cluceru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. TunaFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
