In the 37th minute Osasun Leys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Kosel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 minutes of play, Res Non Verba's Stanislaw Wietrzychowski made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antoni Kosel was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin booed when Res Non Verba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gil Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Stasio Jerzyk made the kick off in the second half.
