The audience was convinced that Russell Bennett's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erubiel Frans was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Erubiel Frans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 41 minutes into the match, Russell Bennett notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's Erubiel Frans. Erubiel Frans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 45th minute Ferdinando Michelini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juvenal Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinando Michelini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juvenal Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinando Michelini in the 48th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 55th minute of the match, Russell Bennett got a very nice opportunity to score, but Erubiel Frans was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinando Michelini in the 95th minute of play forced Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s goalkeeper Juvenal Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lisburn Distillery F.C. were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's much stronger midfield.
