The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Nils Liedholm IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Juhlin to maneuver through the defense. If Gert Örtendahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 7 minutes into the game, Telge77's Adam Jelm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ove Hake made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ove Hake came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Telge77's Jarl Sjöö. But to his dismay, Jarl Sjöö quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 18thth minute of the game Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nils Liedholm IF's Ove Hake was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Nils Liedholm IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörgen Bjurström to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nils Liedholm IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret managed to get in a good position for a shot. Telge77's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ove Hake breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Gert Örtendahl sped through Nils Liedholm IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ove Hake. Telge77 made a substitution. Patrick Martinsson replaced Adam Jelm. In the 38th minute Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Hake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Nils Liedholm IF's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Martinsson came free, but Ove Hake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Gert Örtendahl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ove Hake was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Jarl Sjöö kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Gert Örtendahl scored 0-8 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ove Hake, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Nils Liedholm IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Telge77 were winning 0-8.

The wind increased when Birger Kleen made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Telge77's Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ove Hake was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ove Hake showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarl Sjöö, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Kalle Norström kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Ove Hake took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gert Örtendahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute Telge77 were awarded a corner. Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret went to the cornerflag to take it. Telge77's Jonas Tunander was substituted for Jim Sjögren. Ove Hake showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 91st match minute, Nils Liedholm IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvin Bergkvist to maneuver through the defense. Patrick Martinsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ove Hake made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute of the match Telge77 got a corner. Nils Liedholm IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Herman Lagerberg at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Nils Liedholm IF. 0-15. The Nils Liedholm IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Telge77 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
