The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Golo Oolo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaspar Gilesindo was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Paranhos Ariranha FC's Carlinhos Schmidt quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jiang Kun Liang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristóvão Mattos's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute Tao Rong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Gilesindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Het Koffiehuis's Nicolas Valentini got a free kick in the 30th minute. With a little luck, Paranhos Ariranha FC's Gaspar Gilesindo got control of the ball when Gabriele Koffidis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriele Koffidis to make the kick off. Golo Oolo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Gilesindo having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Het Koffiehuis's Golo Oolo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaspar Gilesindo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Tao Rong fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Het Koffiehuis's protests and gave Tao Rong a yellow card for diving instead. Tao Rong hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. A collision led to Het Koffiehuis getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Tao Rong hit a great ball. Gaspar Gilesindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tao Rong, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. With a little luck, Het Koffiehuis's Jiang Kun Liang got control of the ball when Cristóvão Mattos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Golo Oolo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaspar Gilesindo having to make a save. Het Koffiehuis's Fred Smidts was substituted for Golo Oolo. Gaspar Gilesindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Smidts, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 81 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Het Koffiehuis's Lee Kang fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lee Kang in the 83rd minute of play forced Paranhos Ariranha FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Gilesindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
