Fernando Ruisko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Major went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 24 minutes, Hernán Crespo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Millo de Haedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernán Crespo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute, Wiktor Basaik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Ruisko was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Fernando Ruisko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Major in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Uhin in the 32nd minute of play forced STILON GORZÓW's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Slazak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Major in the 34th minute of play forced El Millo de Haedo's goalkeeper Fernando Ruisko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. STILON GORZÓW's Wiktor Basaik got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When STILON GORZÓW's Sebastian Major in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After the first half STILON GORZÓW were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wiktor Basaik was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, STILON GORZÓW's Abel Baptista got a free kick in the 52nd minute. STILON GORZÓW's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eugenio Baratta in the 58th minute. Fernando Ruisko was a little too slow when Sebastian Major got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-4. El Millo de Haedo's Fernando Ruisko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save El Millo de Haedo from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the El Millo de Haedo defense, Sebastian Major kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Ruisko. The El Millo de Haedo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Ruisko should have stopped the shot. STILON GORZÓW made a substitution. Bernard Kosakowski replaced Sebastian Major. 75 minutes into the match, El Millo de Haedo's goal looked a bit too open when Waclaw Fiszer came free, but Fernando Ruisko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernán Crespo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Zdzislaw Slazak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Waclaw Fiszer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernando Ruisko was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. STILON GORZÓW's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
