Spectators: 7444 (Terracing: 5584, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Folke Melin got the match started through his kick off. Erik Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Malcolm Wall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Durval Guerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Folke Melin. Délio Brodel hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Erik Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20thth minute of the game Erik Antunes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pauliström's Malcolm Wall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Erik Antunes sped through Pauliström's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Malcolm Wall. Cipriano Santana made a great header on Icoara Football Club's corner, it was just that Pauliström's Malcolm Wall managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 35th minute of the match, Bernt Godholm tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Durval Guerra saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 36 minutes Icoara Football Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thor Abrahamsson who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Thor Abrahamsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Durval Guerra quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thor Abrahamsson shot a long shot in the 37th minute and a light blocked Durval Guerra hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erik Antunes during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Durval Guerra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Folke Melin in the 45th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dito Ramos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Alexander Lundström fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pauliström's protests and gave Alexander Lundström a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pauliström getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Alexander Lundström hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Antunes in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Malcolm Wall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 60 minutes Pauliström's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iuri Ortiz who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Iuri Ortiz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pauliström's Malcolm Wall did a great save. Dito Ramos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Malcolm Wall skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Pauliström getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Bernt Godholm hit a great ball. Icoara Football Club's Erik Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Durval Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Näver in the 72nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Folke Melin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Durval Guerra was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Durval Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Godholm in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute of the match, Erik Antunes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Malcolm Wall saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
