Spectators: 5582 (Terracing: 5582, Seating: 0, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dito Ramos got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Dito Ramos notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Uruguaiana's André Sena. André Sena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. André Sena came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Icoara Football Club's Erik Antunes. But to his dismay, Erik Antunes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 12th minute of the match Icoara Football Club got a corner. Uruguaiana's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iuri Ortiz ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 13th match minute, Uruguaiana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Víktor Catarinense to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Erik Antunes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Sena was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. André Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dito Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Dito Ramos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Sena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. André Sena came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Icoara Football Club's Erik Antunes. But to his dismay, Erik Antunes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. André Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Uruguaiana's Marcelo Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. André Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belmiro Cabral in the 32nd minute of play. After 32 played minutes Icoara Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Santana. In the 33rd minute of the match Jorginho Britto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Durval Guerra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. André Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belmiro Cabral in the 35th minute of the match. Luís Fabiano Mattos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Durval Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dito Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Sena having to interfere. After the first half Icoara Football Club were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Fabiano Mattos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. André Sena made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Dito Ramos sent off a good shot on target. Icoara Football Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Iuri Ortiz in the 54th minute. In the 63rd minute, Luís Fabiano Mattos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. André Sena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dito Ramos in the 66th minute. Adriano Vergílio might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Sena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adriano Vergílio ran back to his position shaking his head. Uruguaiana's Gerson Couto was substituted for Marcelo Sousa. Uruguaiana made a substitution. Flávio Veloso replaced Luís Fabiano Mattos. Uruguaiana made a substitution. Marquinhos Diniz replaced Silas Esteves. After a rather tough play, Uruguaiana's Abelardo Gonçalves got a free kick in the 74th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Antunes in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Sena saved Uruguaiana from getting behind. 83 minutes into the match, Erik Antunes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of André Sena. Uruguaiana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erik Antunes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. 91 minutes into the match, Uruguaiana's goalkeeper André Sena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cipriano Santana. André Sena was a little too slow when Belmiro Cabral got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 0-7. Dito Ramos might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Sena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dito Ramos ran back to his position shaking his head. 97 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's Iuri Ortiz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Icoara Football Club played a much better game than Uruguaiana and deserved their victory. The Uruguaiana players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
