Flavinho Castro's late challenge caught a Fabiofs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavinho Castro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fabiofs booed when Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. After the first half Fabiofs were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Pedro Vides was the one to do the kick off. Fabiofs's Alexander Hegg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Tasso in the 53rd minute of play. Daniel Regis succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. 61 minutes into the match, Fabiofs's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Costa came free, but Alexander Hegg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Regis struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Percival Munhoz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fabiofs. Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Percival Munhoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joãozinho Trints in the 70th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Fabiofs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardinho Rezende to maneuver through the defense. Percival Munhoz came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Fabiofs's Cauan Batista. But to his dismay, Cauan Batista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.
