In the 18th minute Frank Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Duardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by ConChanfle FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Salvador Tate was slow to take the kick. During this time Vancouver Reds's players had a chance to rest. Salvador Tate made a great header on Vancouver Reds's corner, it was just that ConChanfle FC's Iago Ozuna managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, ConChanfle FC's Quico Rovira got a free kick in the 24th minute. The supporters of ConChanfle FC booed when Vancouver Reds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Gmoch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolás Castillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iago Ozuna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to ConChanfle FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Garaile Ortega hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, ConChanfle FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amédée Gillis came free, but Iago Ozuna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Cornelio Lesardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 88 minutes, Pang Jun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vancouver Reds's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pang Jun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, ConChanfle FC's Vicemte Ocejo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Omar Duardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 92 played minutes ConChanfle FC got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Blai. Vicemte Ocejo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vancouver Reds had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
