The crowd rose to their feet as Hadi Direm kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Grant Blacknell. That made the score 1-1 in the 12 minute of play. In the 21st minute Tod Freeman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tuğrul Özboga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grant Blacknell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin Tunström in the 26th minute. Grant Blacknell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wu Bin Xing in the 31st minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Wu Bin Xing came free, but Grant Blacknell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grant Blacknell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Tunström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Mike Wadham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tuğrul Özboga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Evcilerspor's goal looked a bit too open when Tod Freeman came free, but Tuğrul Özboga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grant Blacknell made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Benjamin Tunström sent off a good shot on target. Tuğrul Özboga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mike Wadham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tod Freeman in the 44th minute of play forced Evcilerspor's goalkeeper Tuğrul Özboga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tod Freeman made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Tod Freeman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tuğrul Özboga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 52 minutes into the match, Evcilerspor's goal looked a bit too open when Luke Deveraux came free, but Tuğrul Özboga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Leicester Lions's Tuğrul Özboga threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tod Freeman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 62 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Tunström came free, but Grant Blacknell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Leicester Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patryk Plučinský to maneuver through the defense. Şükür Hagi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Tuğrul Özboga made a huge save. After 70 minutes, Patryk Plučinský mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leicester Lions and the Evcilerspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Leicester Lions getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Patryk Plučinský hit a great ball. Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Tunström in the 71st minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Tunström came free, but Grant Blacknell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Tunström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tuğrul Özboga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tod Freeman, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Evcilerspor's Tuğrul Özboga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Evcilerspor from getting a goal against them. In the 84th match minute, Evcilerspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hadi Direm to maneuver through the defense. Tuğrul Özboga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tod Freeman, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Tuğrul Özboga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camron Rhodes in the 91st minute of the match. Grant Blacknell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hadi Direm, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Grant Blacknell came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Evcilerspor's Hadi Direm. But to his dismay, Hadi Direm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Evcilerspor's Hadi Direm got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Evcilerspor players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
