Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zebastian Palmkvist kicked off to start the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Leicester Lions's Camron Rhodes in the 2nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Andreas Svensson was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for FC NILS through an amazing save. FC NILS's Andreas Svensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camron Rhodes in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Zebastian Palmkvist came free, but Grant Blacknell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Zebastian Palmkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grant Blacknell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, FC NILS's Darin Bozduganov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Grant Blacknell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC NILS's Andreas Svensson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save FC NILS from getting a goal against them. Andreas Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şükür Hagi in the 25th minute of play. After having played for 29 minutes, Mike Wadham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leicester Lions's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mike Wadham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şükür Hagi in the 33rd minute of play forced FC NILS's goalkeeper Andreas Svensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darin Bozduganov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Grant Blacknell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After 39 minutes, Ferdi Kadıoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC NILS and the Leicester Lions players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 40th play minutes Şükür Hagi shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Andreas Svensson and just under the crossbar into goal. After 44 played minutes FC NILS got a freekick which was hit by Robert Lindkvist. Andreas Svensson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Şükür Hagi's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Şükür Hagi to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Şükür Hagi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Andreas Svensson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 54th minute, Luke Deveraux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Grant Blacknell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Leicester Lions booed when FC NILS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Ahlerot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darin Bozduganovs short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Grant Blacknell to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Andreas Svensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şükür Hagi, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Darin Bozduganov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Grant Blacknell made a huge save. After 67 played minutes FC NILS got a freekick which was hit by Tim Nordlund. After having played for 68 minutes, Camron Rhodes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leicester Lions's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camron Rhodes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mike Wadham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute Şükür Hagi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Svensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Leicester Lions's Michal Budzyn got a free kick in the 77th minute. After 79 played minutes Leicester Lions got a freekick which was hit by Michal Budzyn. Andreas Svensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şükür Hagi, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Andreas Svensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şükür Hagi in the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC NILS's Stefan Edberg got a free kick in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the match, FC NILS's goal looked a bit too open when Mike Wadham came free, but Andreas Svensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şükür Hagi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andreas Svensson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Leicester Lions walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
