Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Abner Villalobos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gnaget United FC's Ronnie Hellström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leoncio Baburizza in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute Luis Alberto Gaviño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronnie Hellström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abner Villalobos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ludvig Lund in the 11th minute. If Dimosthenis Siamantouras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, DEOXYS F.C.'s Abner Villalobos got control of the ball when Clóvis Cabral tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gnaget United FC's Okaner Dilşad managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ceandro Dumont in the 29 minute of the game. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind DEOXYS F.C.'s goalkeeper Abner Villalobos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. DEOXYS F.C.'s Abner Villalobos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save DEOXYS F.C. from getting a goal against them. Abner Villalobos came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Gnaget United FC's Carl Kling. But to his dismay, Carl Kling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ronnie Hellström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Alberto Gaviño in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luis Alberto Gaviño was the one to do the kick off. Abner Villalobos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Kling in the 51st minute of the match. After 51 minutes of play, Gnaget United FC's Carl Kling made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abner Villalobos was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carl Kling in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abner Villalobos saved DEOXYS F.C. from getting behind. Abner Villalobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Jonsson in the 57th minute of play. In the 61st match minute, DEOXYS F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leoncio Baburizza to maneuver through the defense. Ronnie Hellström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Juan Pedro Caviedes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 83 minute of play. DEOXYS F.C.'s Luis Alberto Gaviño got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carl Kling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Gnaget United FC defense, Dimosthenis Siamantouras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronnie Hellström. The Gnaget United FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronnie Hellström should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Luis Alberto Gaviño took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Ronnie Hellström to make any attempt to save it. Gnaget United FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing DEOXYS F.C. to leave the ground with a draw.
