Andreas Svensson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jarmo Laik's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC NILS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Barry McCray was slow to take the kick. During this time Modlau's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Dawid Alaba heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 22 minutes into the match, FC NILS's goal looked a bit too open when Wincenty Mochowak came free, but Andreas Svensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Modlau's goal looked a bit too open when Darin Bozduganov came free, but Sebastian Winszman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Modlau's Sebastian Winszman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darin Bozduganov in the 28th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC NILS defense, Barry McCray kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andreas Svensson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarmo Laik in the 43rd minute of play forced FC NILS's goalkeeper Andreas Svensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Svensson came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Modlau's Barry McCray. But to his dismay, Barry McCray quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Barry McCray stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Dominic Salazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Svensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Boleslaw Slazak in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC NILS's Ferdi Kadıoğlu. Sebastian Winszman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darin Bozduganov, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Andreas Svensson had great luck who in the 60thth minute grab hold of the ball when Barry McCray from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Andreas Svensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarmo Laik in the 62nd minute of the match. FC NILS's Ferdi Kadıoğlu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Boleslaw Slazak, made in the 63rd minute of the game. FC NILS's Zebastian Palmkvist got his second yellow card of the match in the 66th minute. The referee ordered Zebastian Palmkvist off the ground.
