Abner Villalobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Teixeira in the 16th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, ConChanfle FC's goalkeeper Iago Ozuna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliseo Gabino. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliseo Gabino got free with Iago Ozuna in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the match, DEOXYS F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Frank Teixeira came free, but Abner Villalobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Eliseo Gabino could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Iago Ozuna however easily saved by the left post. Abner Villalobos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Teixeira's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute of the match ConChanfle FC got a corner. DEOXYS F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Silverio Rubalcava ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of ConChanfle FC booed when DEOXYS F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Gabino didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eliseo Gabino to make the kick off. Dimosthenis Siamantouras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. If Frank Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 68th minute Eliseo Gabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iago Ozuna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iago Ozuna came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by DEOXYS F.C.'s Eliseo Gabino. But to his dismay, Eliseo Gabino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. ConChanfle FC made a substitution. Vicemte Ocejo replaced Frank Teixeira. Vicemte Ocejo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abner Villalobos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Quico Rovira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Abner Villalobos made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ConChanfle FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
