When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Frank Teixeira put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ronnie Hellström. Iago Ozuna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Kling in the 68th minute of the match. Silverio Rubalcava might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronnie Hellström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
