In the 3rd minute Frank Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Duardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolás Castillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iago Ozuna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolás Castillo ran back to his position shaking his head. Iago Ozuna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolás Castillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 5 played minutes Vancouver Reds got a freekick which was hit by Macnelly Torres. Iago Ozuna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolás Castillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Nicolás Castillo spun around in front of the goal 14 minutes in the game and got away a good shot, but Iago Ozuna grabbed the ball before it went up in top right corner. Tiadoro Sabugo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Omar Duardo. Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Frank Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolás Castillo in the 28th minute of play forced ConChanfle FC's goalkeeper Iago Ozuna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, ConChanfle FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolás Castillo came free, but Iago Ozuna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vancouver Reds's Julian Gmoch got a free kick in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Frank Teixeira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Omar Duardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 42 minutes of play, ConChanfle FC's Frank Teixeira made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Omar Duardo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Cameron Leary in the 55th minute of play forced ConChanfle FC's goalkeeper Iago Ozuna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vancouver Reds's Macnelly Torres quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sandu Tiberiu, made in the 61st minute of the game. 65 minutes into the game, Frank Teixeira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Omar Duardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ConChanfle FC's Fernandez Poblaciones was substituted for Silverio Rubalcava. Iago Ozuna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amédée Gillis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iago Ozuna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amédée Gillis, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute Vicemte Ocejo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Duardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Macnelly Torres in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iago Ozuna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Vicemte Ocejo managed to get in a good position for a shot. ConChanfle FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicemte Ocejo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Duardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Vancouver Reds's Julian Gmoch got a free kick in the 90th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quico Rovira got free with Omar Duardo in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ConChanfle FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Vancouver Reds's much stronger midfield.
