In the 29th minute Habeeb Shevchenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helger Jaas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the match Club Deportivo Álvarez got a corner. Dune's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Miguel Ángel Hvalica ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Osvaldo Oihan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Helger Jaas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Helger Jaas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Lohitzun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Enriquezs short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Helger Jaas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

60 minutes into the game, Miguel Ángel Hvalica cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Helger Jaas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Habeeb Shevchenko in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Helger Jaas saved Dune from getting behind. In the 68th minute Bogdan Mailat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Constancio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximino Constancio was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Bogdan Mailat capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bogdan Mailat really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. After 73 played minutes Dune got a freekick which was hit by Adolf Lausmäe. After 78 played minutes Dune got a freekick which was hit by Polat Adar. If Marti Hull had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Helger Jaas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Habeeb Shevchenko in the 86th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Dune's goal looked a bit too open when Habeeb Shevchenko came free, but Helger Jaas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dune's Helger Jaas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Habeeb Shevchenko in the 87th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Dune's goal looked a bit too open when Habeeb Shevchenko came free, but Helger Jaas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Dune defense, Miguel Ángel Hvalica kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Helger Jaas. The Dune fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Helger Jaas should have stopped the shot. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
