Amerigo Labarra went to the cornerflag to take it. Adam Vase was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Iwan Lepucki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roberto Enriquez in the 23rd minute. After taking down the ball on Club Deportivo Álvarez's corner Miguel Ángel Hvalica fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iwan Lepucki quite easily take care of the ball. Nguyễn Phuong blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximino Constancio having to make a save. Maximino Constancio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Phuong in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Álvarez's Can Ocakçı got a free kick in the 29th minute. 34 minutes into the game, Edgar Merski threw the ball into play from the sideline. LavAzzA's Xu Rong Chao quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexis Santos in the 39th minute of play forced LavAzzA's goalkeeper Iwan Lepucki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LavAzzA's Nguyễn Phuong got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Club Deportivo Álvarez's Maximino Constancio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Phuong in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

With a little luck, Club Deportivo Álvarez's Maximino Constancio got control of the ball when Nguyễn Phuong tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iwan Lepucki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Lohitzun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexis Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, LavAzzA's Hannes Forsberg got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 63rd minute, Nguyễn Phuong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Habeeb Shevchenko in the 69th minute of play forced LavAzzA's goalkeeper Iwan Lepucki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nguyễn Phuong in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximino Constancio saved Club Deportivo Álvarez from getting behind. A collision led to LavAzzA getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Marcus Skytt hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Amerigo Labarra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcus Skytt scored 0-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximino Constancio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. LavAzzA made a substitution. Mai Di Chao replaced Adam Vase. In the 86th minute Nguyễn Phuong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Constancio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximino Constancio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Phuong, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute Nguyễn Phuong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Constancio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hannes Forsberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maximino Constancio came out and tried to block the shot, but Hannes Forsberg slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 94th minute. The LavAzzA players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
