Sergio Goycochea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Ángel Hvalica in the 14th minute of the match. Sergio Goycochea made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Miguel Ángel Hvalica sent off a good shot on target. Habeeb Shevchenko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Sergio Goycochea made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Sergio Goycochea successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Deportivo Álvarez's Adrian Lohitzun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sergio Goycochea. That made the score 2-0 after 25 minutes of play. A sloppy throw-in by Douglas Björkman in the 27th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Club Deportivo Álvarez's Edgar Merski. Adrian Lohitzun took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergio Goycochea. Sergio Goycochea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Edgar Merski made in the 31st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Adrian Lohitzun however managed to control. After 32 played minutes FC Hackspett U21 got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Lustig. Sergio Goycochea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Ángel Hvalica, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Alexis Santos made a precise shot to the right of Sergio Goycochea. FC Hackspett U21's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 38 minutes into the match, FC Hackspett U21's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Enriquez came free, but Sergio Goycochea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergio Goycochea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Ángel Hvalica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergio Goycochea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexis Santos in the 43rd minute of the match. Habeeb Shevchenkos short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Sergio Goycochea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Habeeb Shevchenko to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FC Hackspett U21's zone, Alexis Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Goycochea came out of the goal and Alexis Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Hackspett U21's Sergio Goycochea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Habeeb Shevchenko in the 52nd minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Hackspett U21 defense, Adrian Lohitzun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergio Goycochea. The FC Hackspett U21 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergio Goycochea should have stopped the shot. After 56 minutes, Douglas Björkman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Hackspett U21 and the Club Deportivo Álvarez players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Club Deportivo Álvarez booed when FC Hackspett U21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Björkman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sergio Goycochea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Lohitzun in the 57th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, FC Hackspett U21's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Lohitzun came free, but Sergio Goycochea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Miguel Ángel Hvalica made a precise shot to the right of Sergio Goycochea. FC Hackspett U21's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Sergio Goycochea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Lohitzun in the 72nd minute of play. When Club Deportivo Álvarez's Adrian Lohitzun in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sergio Goycochea came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportivo Álvarez's Adrian Lohitzun. But to his dismay, Adrian Lohitzun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Club Deportivo Álvarez made a substitution. Lucas Langoni replaced Adrian Lohitzun. In the 93rd minute, Douglas Björkman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 94 played minutes, Club Deportivo Álvarez's Gaston Iigo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sergio Goycochea came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Deportivo Álvarez reached it. Sergio Goycochea came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportivo Álvarez's Alexis Santos. But to his dismay, Alexis Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. Club Deportivo Álvarez's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
