Ercole Carnevale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dari Mana fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s protests and gave Dari Mana a yellow card for diving instead. 42 minutes into the game, one of ►Las Mercedes F.C◄:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Teodoro Chale shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodoro Chale made a kick off. Juan Benavides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesare Romano, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute of the match Santoryu FC got a corner. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andrea Muciaccia ran over to the corner to take the kick. Santoryu FC's Andrea Muciaccia was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Juan Benavides in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ercole Carnevale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milosz Gabis in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Adan Bartuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 63 played minutes Santoryu FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Muciaccia. Ercole Carnevale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martín Ulloa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute Milosz Gabis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Carnevale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76thth minute of the game Martín Ulloa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santoryu FC's Ercole Carnevale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Dennis Nero sped through ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juan Benavides.
