The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Gaudencio Lekubegi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Enol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 3 minutes of play, LavAzzA's Gaudencio Lekubegi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eriberto Enol was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 11th minute Roberto Enriquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Lepucki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaudencio Lekubegi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eriberto Enol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Club Deportivo Álvarez's Eriberto Enol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo Álvarez from getting a goal against them. A sloppy throw-in by Edgar Merski in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by LavAzzA's Xavier von Felten. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Deportivo Álvarez's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amerigo Labarra was slow to take the kick. During this time LavAzzA's players had a chance to rest. The corner led LavAzzA's Amerigo Labarra to fire away a dangerous shot which Eriberto Enol despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The nice shot from Marcus Skytt in the 35thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Eriberto Enol had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. With his leg Eriberto Enol managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when LavAzzA's Marcus Skytt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eriberto Enol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannes Forsberg in the 39th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Gaudencio Lekubegi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Ángel Hvalica in the 47th minute of play forced LavAzzA's goalkeeper Iwan Lepucki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcus Skytt made a kick off. Eriberto Enol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Lekubegi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eriberto Enol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Lekubegi, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the match, LavAzzA's Gaudencio Lekubegi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eriberto Enol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 61st minute of the match LavAzzA got a corner. Club Deportivo Álvarez's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amerigo Labarra ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Gaudencio Lekubegi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Deportivo Álvarez's Eriberto Enol did a great save. In the 62nd minute, Club Deportivo Álvarez's Alexis Santos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iwan Lepucki. Iwan Lepucki yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 66 minutes into the game, Lucas Langoni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Deportivo Álvarez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LavAzzA the free kick. In the 67th minute Gaudencio Lekubegi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Enol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Skytt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eriberto Enol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of LavAzzA booed when Club Deportivo Álvarez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Can Ocakçı didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Amerigo Labarra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LavAzzA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amerigo Labarra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the game, LavAzzA's Gaudencio Lekubegi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eriberto Enol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hannes Forsberg in the 78th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Álvarez's goalkeeper Eriberto Enol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo Álvarez's zone, Gaudencio Lekubegi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Enol came out of the goal and Gaudencio Lekubegi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. LavAzzA's Fernando Pinto was substituted for Amerigo Labarra. LavAzzA's Mai Di Chao was substituted for Adam Vase. Eriberto Enol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Lekubegi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victoriano Berto hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, LavAzzA's Franc Fabra tried to score from far away in the 90th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Álvarez's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Skytt came free, but Eriberto Enol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
