Jerry Lodge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Hermon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 minutes Valencia C.F.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Artemio Cidro who took care of the corner kick. After 16 played minutes Domínguez AFC got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Hermon. Joe Herring's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Omar Conrao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Valencia C.F.'s Oliver Bean quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Baldomiro Senio, made in the 28th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Joe Herring's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Omar Conrao was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Tino in the 32nd minute of play forced Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Jerry Lodge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Joe Herring left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valencia C.F. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Joe Herring struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Omar Conrao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valencia C.F.. Joe Herring might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Omar Conrao. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joe Herring ran back to his position shaking his head. The Domínguez AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Valencia C.F. were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joe Herring made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Joe Herring had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Omar Conrao. Domínguez AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joe Herring was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. With a little luck, Domínguez AFC's Omar Conrao got control of the ball when Yuan Wei Han tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valencia C.F.'s Jerry Lodge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Hermon in the 62nd minute of play. Florentin Gougeon might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Omar Conrao. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florentin Gougeon ran back to his position shaking his head. Omar Conrao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentin Gougeon, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Humberto Hermon kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Domínguez AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Valencia C.F. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
