An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Silbestre in the 6th minute of play forced Hønning's goalkeeper Gert Altorn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Domínguez AFC's goal looked a bit too open when John-Arne Riise came free, but Omar Conrao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Domínguez AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Senio to maneuver through the defense. Per Nørbjerg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Omar Conrao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Domínguez AFC's Humberto Hermon got a free kick in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by John-Arne Riise in the 22nd minute of play forced Domínguez AFC's goalkeeper Omar Conrao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Domínguez AFC's zone, John-Arne Riise stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Conrao came out of the goal and John-Arne Riise tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Domínguez AFC booed when Hønning was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torben Steenhede didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per Nørbjerg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Conrao having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mikael Kandil during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Hønning was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikael Kandil to maneuver through the defense. Gert Altorn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Hermon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Hermon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Gert Altorn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jairo Tino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Atilano Silbestre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Gert Altorn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gert Altorn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Gaitano in the 57th minute of play. Askild Ene hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 59 played minutes Hønning got a freekick which was hit by Askild Ene. When Domínguez AFC's Jairo Tino in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hønning's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Gaitano in the 67th minute of play forced Hønning's goalkeeper Gert Altorn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Fidel Gaitano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hønning's Gert Altorn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Tino in the 74th minute of play. After 75 played minutes Domínguez AFC got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Cidro. Omar Conrao was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Per Nørbjerg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 76 minute of play. Domínguez AFC's Omar Conrao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Domínguez AFC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Domínguez AFC's Omar Conrao got control of the ball when John-Arne Riise tried to sneak it across the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Hønning's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Silbestre came free, but Gert Altorn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Bernabe Weterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
