Nando Pereira hit a great ball. Nando Pereira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torcato Modesto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Lanus defense, Nando Pereira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torcato Modesto. The Club Atletico Lanus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torcato Modesto should have stopped the shot. Torcato Modesto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nando Pereira went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Torcato Modesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordara Creus in the 13th minute of the match. When Astor Sancho got free in front of the goal in the 16th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Epifanio Gabrio was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Nando Pereira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Torcato Modesto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Torcato Modesto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nando Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Astor Sancho in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Gabrio saved Penuel Football Club from getting behind. Chen Shi Ran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torcato Modesto having to interfere. The corner led Club Atletico Lanus's Emanuel Cilio to fire away a dangerous shot which Epifanio Gabrio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Furtado Ozaolaza made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club Atletico Lanus's Aristides Distiratsu. In the 44th minute of the game Aristides Distiratsu made a throw-in which Astor Sancho played forward. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nando Pereira was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Chen Shi Ran kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Torcato Modesto. That made the score 0-4 in the 52 minute of play. In the 56th minute Nando Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torcato Modesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute of the match, Nando Pereira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Torcato Modesto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Nando Pereira sped through Club Atletico Lanus's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Torcato Modesto. 63 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Lanus's goalkeeper Torcato Modesto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nando Pereira. In the 65th minute, Victor Amato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Penuel Football Club made a substitution. Vivaldo Carmona replaced Nando Pereira. Epifanio Gabrio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Lanus. Aristides Distiratsu made in the 76th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Leonardo Sigali. In the 80th minute Astor Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Gabrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alejo Bastia fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico Lanus's protests and gave Alejo Bastia a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Penuel Football Club booed when Club Atletico Lanus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Bastia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Amato could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Torcato Modesto made a huge save. When Penuel Football Club's Vivaldo Carmona in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atletico Lanus's goalie prevented a goal. Club Atletico Lanus's Torcato Modesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vivaldo Carmona in the 90th minute of play. Club Atletico Lanus's Torcato Modesto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Lanus from getting a goal against them. Luis Miguel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Torcato Modesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Penuel Football Club players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
