In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Alex Team's goalkeeper Ion Chificeac, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ion Chificeac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando Pereira in the 24th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nando Pereira in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ion Chificeac saved Alex Team from getting behind. In the 84th minute, Penuel Football Club's Vivaldo Carmona ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ion Chificeac. Ion Chificeac yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. 92 minutes into the match, Vivaldo Carmona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ion Chificeac. Alex Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vivaldo Carmona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. Luis Miguel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ion Chificeac came out and tried to block the shot, but Luis Miguel slotted it home off the left post making it 0-13 in the 97th minute. Penuel Football Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
