FC Gdansk36's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tractorul Satulung -MM- the free kick. The supporters of Tractorul Satulung -MM- booed when FC Gdansk36 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willem-Jan Dittman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mădălin Cangeopol got free with Adam Matysek in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan Olisadebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panait Hațegan having to interfere. Adam Matysek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mădălin Cangeopol in the 43rd minute. With a little luck, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Panait Hațegan got control of the ball when Piotr Kozlowski tried to sneak it across the goal line.
