Ernesto Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Oscar Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kang Xuan Liang, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Oscar Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kang Xuan Liang in the 22nd minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, FC Zurich's Iwan Cieliczka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oscar Saldanha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Kléber Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Squadra Demarchi from getting a goal against them. FC Zurich's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Angel Panagonov in the 41st minute. After taking down the ball on FC Zurich's corner Angel Panagonov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Oscar Saldanha quite easily take care of the ball. Iwan Cieliczka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Oscar Saldanha made a huge save. Squadra Demarchi's attentive Samuel Ribeiro managed to snatch the ball when Iwo Borcz made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kléber Queirós in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wlodzimierz Grondzki saved FC Zurich from getting behind. After 45 minutes, Kléber Queirós made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Zurich's Wlodzimierz Grondzki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexsandro Britto made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, FC Zurich's Kang Xuan Liang made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oscar Saldanha was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 55thth minute of the game Kang Xuan Liang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iwan Cieliczka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwan Cieliczka in the 60th minute of play forced Squadra Demarchi's goalkeeper Oscar Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iwan Cieliczka in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Saldanha saved Squadra Demarchi from getting behind. After some careless play in the Squadra Demarchi defense, Iwan Cieliczka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oscar Saldanha. The Squadra Demarchi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oscar Saldanha should have stopped the shot. Kang Xuan Liang struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Oscar Saldanha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Zurich. Iwan Cieliczka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Oscar Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwan Cieliczka in the 70th minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Wu Chao Ming threw the ball into play from the sideline. Squadra Demarchi's Samuel Ribeiro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 78 minutes into the match, FC Zurich's Iwan Cieliczka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oscar Saldanha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iwo Borcz made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Squadra Demarchi's Samuel Ribeiro. Iwan Cieliczka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gustaw Faron was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 87th minute, Iwan Cieliczka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iwan Cieliczka succeeded in the game's 91st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-1. Oscar Saldanha came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Zurich's Kang Xuan Liang. But to his dismay, Kang Xuan Liang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Zurich fully deserved thier win.
