Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) The supporters of Queens of Lublin booed when FC Gdansk36 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witomir Perkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Gdansk36's Adam Matysek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslaw Dykes in the 4th minute of play. Adam Matysek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Prus, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. When Queens of Lublin's Ale Brama in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Gdansk36's goalie prevented a goal. After 11 minutes, Jan Olisadebe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Gdansk36 and the Queens of Lublin players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, FC Gdansk36 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Olisadebe to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute Miroslaw Dykes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Matysek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miroslaw Dykes in the 23rd minute of play forced FC Gdansk36's goalkeeper Adam Matysek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes FC Gdansk36 got a freekick which was hit by Willem-Jan Dittman. When Ðuza Pala came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Queens of Lublin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ðuza Pala couldn't finish the play. In the 29th minute Piotr Kozlowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiao Bing Zheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adam Matysek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miroslaw Dykes was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Ale Brama recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adam Matysek. Ale Brama showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. 55 minutes into the game, FC Gdansk36's Piotr Kozlowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Qiao Bing Zheng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A hard shot 61 in the game by Ale Brama from a close distance when the talented Adam Matysek managed to make a qualified save. FC Gdansk36's players were relieved. Iggi Kot blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Qiao Bing Zheng having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miroslaw Dykes got free with Adam Matysek in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Qiao Bing Zheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Kozlowski in the 71st minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Iggi Kot had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Qiao Bing Zheng. Queens of Lublin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iggi Kot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miroslaw Dykes in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adam Matysek saved FC Gdansk36 from getting behind. In the 80th minute, Iggi Kot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute of the match Queens of Lublin got a corner. FC Gdansk36's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ðuza Pala ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Queens of Lublin's Dawid Alaba got a free kick in the 84th minute. Jan Olisadebe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Qiao Bing Zheng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Gdansk36 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Queens of Lublin had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
