Ciro Castro made in the 16th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Samuel Ribeiro however managed to control. Claudio Aznar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexsandro Britto in the 20th minute of the match. Fred Flinta's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Oscar Saldanha skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arman von Liechtenstein in the 28th minute of play. Alexsandro Britto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Squadra Demarchi's zone, Fred Flinta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Saldanha came out of the goal and Fred Flinta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thomas Lundin charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomas Lundin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 played minutes Joxa mé trasan got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Lundin. Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Squadra Demarchi from getting a goal against them. After 90 minutes of play, Joxa mé trasan's Kim Njurenius made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oscar Saldanha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Despite being the better team, Joxa mé trasan failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
