Kléber Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Piotr Kozlowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Saldanha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Piotr Kozlowski in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Saldanha saved Squadra Demarchi from getting behind. Oscar Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iggi Kot, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 9th minute, one of Squadra Demarchi:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Squadra Demarchi. Oscar Saldanha had in the 11thth minute some difficulties stopping Iggi Kot's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. FC Gdansk36 were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Squadra Demarchi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jan Olisadebe took the corner. Jan Olisadebe made a great header on FC Gdansk36's corner, it was just that Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha managed to reach the ball for a save. Oscar Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iggi Kot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Squadra Demarchi's Ernesto Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Piotr Kozlowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Saldanha was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 26th match minute, Squadra Demarchi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mané Xavier to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iggi Kot in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Iggi Kot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Gdansk36 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Piotr Kozlowski came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the FC Gdansk36 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Piotr Kozlowski couldn't finish the play. Oscar Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iggi Kot in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Squadra Demarchi's Mané Xavier got a free kick in the 41st minute. FC Gdansk36's Adam Matysek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save FC Gdansk36 from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexsandro Britto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jan Olisadebe made a great header on FC Gdansk36's corner, it was just that Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha managed to reach the ball for a save. A nice corner shot did that Jan Olisadebe got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Oscar Saldanha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexsandro Britto in the 65th minute of play forced FC Gdansk36's goalkeeper Adam Matysek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Saldanha made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Piotr Kozlowski sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th match minute, Squadra Demarchi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Piotr Kozlowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Oscar Saldanha, 0-3. Piotr Kozlowski struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Oscar Saldanha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Gdansk36. After a defensive mix-up in Squadra Demarchi's zone, Iggi Kot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Saldanha came out of the goal and Iggi Kot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samuel Ribeiro's late challenge caught a FC Gdansk36's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel Ribeiro helped the player get up and apologised. Samuel Ribeiro hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, FC Gdansk36's Iggi Kot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oscar Saldanha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oscar Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iggi Kot in the 79th minute of play. Iggi Kot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Saldanha having to interfere. After having played for 84 minutes, Iggi Kot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Gdansk36's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iggi Kot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Squadra Demarchi's goal looked a bit too open when Iggi Kot came free, but Oscar Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piotr Kozlowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iggi Kot might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar Saldanha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iggi Kot ran back to his position shaking his head. 95 minutes into the match, Squadra Demarchi's goalkeeper Oscar Saldanha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Piotr Kozlowski. 95 minutes into the match, Piotr Kozlowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Oscar Saldanha, 0-4.
