Angelo Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Bufi having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's goalkeeper Tayyar Poyraz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gwidon Cwojdak. In the 19th minute, Angelo Borges left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 21st minute 余永川 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tayyar Poyraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 余永川 in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tayyar Poyraz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tayyar Poyraz made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Gwidon Cwojdak sent off a good shot on target. Tayyar Poyraz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gwidon Cwojdak showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 30 minute of play. After 32 played minutes Cruzeiro Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Valeriu Toacsen. In the 37th minute, Angelo Borges made a precise shot to the right of Arthur Bufi. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when 余永川 got free with Tayyar Poyraz in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute, Angelo Borges left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. The Cruzeiro Esporte Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 were winning 3-4.

Angelo Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's zone, Arjen Robben stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur Bufi came out of the goal and Arjen Robben tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the match, Angelo Borges dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arthur Bufi, 3-6. BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's Vefa Bilgin was substituted for Börje Linquist. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube made a substitution. Cristi Saron replaced Oswaldo Maranhense. BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 made a substitution. Gürsel Durusoy replaced Angelo Borges. 70 minutes into the game, Douglas Botelho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Douglas Botelho got a free kick in the 70th minute. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Arthur Bufi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gürsel Durusoy in the 72nd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Arthur Bufi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gürsel Durusoy. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Garoa Bencoiechea was slow to take the kick. During this time BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Garoa Bencoiechea almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Arthur Bufi did a great save. Arthur Bufi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vefa Bilgin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gürsel Durusoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arthur Bufi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gürsel Durusoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 余永川 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cruzeiro Esporte Clube fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 92 minutes, BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's Garoa Bencoiechea got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Arthur Bufi. Gwidon Cwojdak struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Tayyar Poyraz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cruzeiro Esporte Clube. The BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
