After 26 minutes, Emanuel Firea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Republica Ploiești and the C.D. Pepino’s players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, Miguel Hernánde Arrué left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.D. Pepino’s fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Cezar Costeiantu's late challenge caught a C.D. Pepino’s's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cezar Costeiantu helped the player get up and apologised. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dan Godeanu to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Hernánde Arrué in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Lăcătuș prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ferrán Suarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Godeanu in the 58th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Republica Ploiești's Dan Godeanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferrán Suarez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Manuel Lăcătuș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Hernánde Arrué in the 62nd minute of the match. Manuel Lăcătuș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Hernánde Arrué, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Republica Ploiești fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.D. Pepino’s were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
