Spectators: 7478 (Terracing: 5610, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Iustinian Comăneci kicked off to start the match. Iustinian Comăneci scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Lăcătuș, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Răzvan Anghel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 11 minutes into the match, Republica Ploiești's goal looked a bit too open when Iustinian Comăneci came free, but Manuel Lăcătuș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Lăcătuș stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iustinian Comăneci's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Manuel Lăcătuș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstantin Elek in the 14th minute of the match. Manuel Lăcătuș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Răzvan Anghel in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, SuperDepor's goalkeeper Radu Tarchilă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dan Godeanu. Manuel Lăcătuș came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by SuperDepor's Răzvan Anghel. But to his dismay, Răzvan Anghel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. SuperDepor's Iustinian Comăneci got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vintilă Lupeanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Lăcătuș. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vintilă Lupeanu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Republica Ploiești's goalkeeper Manuel Lăcătuș, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Iustinian Comăneci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Răzvan Anghel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Răzvan Anghel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the match, Iustinian Comăneci notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Republica Ploiești's Manuel Lăcătuș. Manuel Lăcătuș was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dan Godeanu to strike the kick off in the second half. Iustinian Comăneci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Manuel Lăcătuș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Călin Bolborici cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Manuel Lăcătuș was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 63 minutes into the game, SuperDepor's Călin Bolborici nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Lăcătuș made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. 66 minutes into the game, Iustinian Comăneci recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manuel Lăcătuș. Iustinian Comăneci showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. In the 69th play minute Călin Bolborici came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Manuel Lăcătuș. 0-9. 72 minutes into the game, Călin Bolborici recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manuel Lăcătuș. Călin Bolborici showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. Răzvan Anghel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manuel Lăcătuș came out and tried to block the shot, but Răzvan Anghel slotted it home off the left post making it 0-12 in the 78th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Lóránt Benczur kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuel Lăcătuș. That made the score 0-13 in the 86 minute of play. SuperDepor's Emil Gârdescu was substituted for Iustinian Comăneci. The supporters of SuperDepor booed when Republica Ploiești was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Trifan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emil Gârdescu got free with Manuel Lăcătuș in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 94 minutes into the match, Konstantin Elek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Lăcătuș. Republica Ploiești's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Konstantin Elek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-14. SuperDepor's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
