Carlos Leclerc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Godeanu in the 16th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Republica Ploiești's goal looked a bit too open when Hamilton Luis came free, but Manuel Lăcătuș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Costel Lepuș was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Republica Ploiești's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jumeuc Futebol Clube the free kick. After a rather tough play, Republica Ploiești's Costel Lepuș got a free kick in the 27th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Firea in the 30th managed to get into a good position. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Dan Godeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Republica Ploiești's supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Godeanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Leclerc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Republica Ploiești's Manuel Lăcătuș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Falcão Soeiro in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Falcão Soeiro in the 82nd minute of play forced Republica Ploiești's goalkeeper Manuel Lăcătuș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 played minutes Jumeuc Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei da Fonseca. There was no doubt that Jumeuc Futebol Clube were the better team. Jumeuc Futebol Clube's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
