Manuel Lăcătuș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Manuel Lăcătuș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Borges in the 6th minute of play. Angelo Borges scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Lăcătuș, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manuel Lăcătuș didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angelo Borges went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 15 minutes into the match, Angelo Borges had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Lăcătuș. Republica Ploiești's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelo Borges was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 22 minutes into the match, Angelo Borges notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Republica Ploiești's Manuel Lăcătuș. Manuel Lăcătuș was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Manuel Lăcătuș didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angelo Borges went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Ferdinand Arnăuțoiu got his second yellow card in the match during the 30th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 31st minute, Ferdinand Arnăuțoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Börje Linquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Manuel Lăcătuș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34thth minute of the game Angelo Borges who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Republica Ploiești's Manuel Lăcătuș was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Angelo Borges dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Manuel Lăcătuș, 6-0. Angelo Borges scored 7-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Lăcătuș, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manuel Lăcătuș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Borges in the 44th minute of the match. Republica Ploiești's Manuel Lăcătuș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Borges in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 were awarded a corner. Garoa Bencoiechea went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Börje Linquist advanced and headed the ball into goal, 8-0 in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dan Godeanu to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Republica Ploiești defense, Angelo Borges kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Lăcătuș. The Republica Ploiești fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Lăcătuș should have stopped the shot. Manuel Lăcătuș came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's Angelo Borges. But to his dismay, Angelo Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. In the 62nd minute, Angelo Borges left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. 65 minutes into the game, Angelo Borges cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Manuel Lăcătuș was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Republica Ploiești defense, Angelo Borges kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Lăcătuș. The Republica Ploiești fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Lăcătuș should have stopped the shot. BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 made a substitution. Vefa Bilgin replaced Börje Linquist. BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's Gürsel Durusoy was substituted for Angelo Borges. After 78 minutes of play, BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's Gürsel Durusoy made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Lăcătuș was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gürsel Durusoy took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Lăcătuș. Manuel Lăcătuș dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 15-0. In the 84th minute, Gürsel Durusoy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Lăcătuș was frozen by the shot and now it was 16-0. With a little luck, BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's Tayyar Poyraz got control of the ball when Emanuel Firea tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute, Emanuel Firea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Republica Ploiești's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Garoa Bencoiechea was slow to take the kick. During this time BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Gürsel Durusoy at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Republica Ploiești. 17-0. In the 97th minute Vefa Bilgin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Lăcătuș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
