TeamSystem's Barbaros Bozbora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dasep Arkananta in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Real Unión CF's goal looked a bit too open when Alişan Togay came free, but Wilfredo Heli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonardo Isadore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Barbaros Bozbora made a huge save. Barbaros Bozbora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liu Cheng Kang in the 10th minute of play. When Martín Cardetti came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the TeamSystem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martín Cardetti couldn't finish the play. Wilfredo Heli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martín Cardetti in the 13th minute of play. Wilfredo Heli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alişan Togay, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Unión CF's goalkeeper Wilfredo Heli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. TeamSystem's Günalp Uslu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sandalio Urquiaga in the 18 minute of the game. 23 minutes into the match, TeamSystem's Martín Cardetti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilfredo Heli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wilfredo Heli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gökay Ongay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilfredo Heli came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by TeamSystem's Martín Cardetti. But to his dismay, Martín Cardetti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Isadore got free with Barbaros Bozbora in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gökay Ongay in the 36th minute of play forced Real Unión CF's goalkeeper Wilfredo Heli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilfredo Heli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martín Cardetti in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gökay Ongay to make the kick off. Sandalio Urquiaga charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The audience was convinced that Jiang Liang Wei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilfredo Heli was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The TeamSystem supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing TeamSystem would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
