The Goth Cloudy Experience fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Goth Cloudy Experience's Acácio Leal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Goth Cloudy Experience booed when Simoneta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Pancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Mannuel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acácio Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Hermínio Lendaa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Mannuel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Simoneta FC's goalie and right to Luiz Guimarães. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Simoneta FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 29th match minute, Goth Cloudy Experience was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Hermínio Lendaa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julian Mannuel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Julian Mannuel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acácio Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Humberto Mitxaut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximino Ursino charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximino Ursino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Simoneta FC's Maximino Ursino got a free kick in the 40th minute. Victor Maranhense took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julian Mannuel. Simoneta FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Acácio Leal in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julian Mannuel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hermínio Lendaa to strike the kick off in the second half. Victor Maranhense's late challenge caught a Simoneta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Maranhense helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Simoneta FC's Rodolfo Iztal got a free kick in the 54th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Acácio Leal got free with Julian Mannuel in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julian Mannuel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Acácio Leal went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Julian Mannuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acácio Leal in the 72nd minute of play. After 80 minutes of play Simoneta FC's Maximino Ursino was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Hermínio Lendaa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Julian Mannuel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Julian Mannuel managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Goth Cloudy Experience's Acácio Leal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Goth Cloudy Experience's zone, Enzo Ferrer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldinho Novaes came out of the goal and Enzo Ferrer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the game, Nelson Medeiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goth Cloudy Experience's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Simoneta FC the free kick. The supporters of Simoneta FC booed when Goth Cloudy Experience was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Goth Cloudy Experience played a much better game than Simoneta FC and deserved their victory. The Simoneta FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
