Spectators: 7469 (Terracing: 5603, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Filip Paulescu kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Purple Shadows defense, Zygmunt Dunajski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zbyszko Duda. The Purple Shadows fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zbyszko Duda should have stopped the shot. After 10 minutes of play, FC Steaua Pildesti's Lucian Stere made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zbyszko Duda was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 13 played minutes Purple Shadows got a freekick which was hit by Miroslaw Czajkowski. Zbyszko Duda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucian Stere, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Filip Paulescu made a precise shot to the right of Zbyszko Duda. Purple Shadows's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Purple Shadows's Zbyszko Duda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Dunajski in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Zygmunt Dunajski made a precise shot to the right of Zbyszko Duda. Purple Shadows's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zygmunt Dunajski in the 26th minute of play forced Purple Shadows's goalkeeper Zbyszko Duda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boguslaw Lamczyk during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tymoteusz Skirzynski's late challenge caught a FC Steaua Pildesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tymoteusz Skirzynski helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Purple Shadows's Tymoteusz Skirzynski got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 34 played minutes FC Steaua Pildesti got a freekick which was hit by Robert Antohi. 37 minutes into the match, Zygmunt Dunajski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zbyszko Duda. Purple Shadows's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zygmunt Dunajski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. 40 minutes into the match, Lucian Stere notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Purple Shadows's Zbyszko Duda. Zbyszko Duda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 43 minutes into the game, FC Steaua Pildesti's Nicolae Barbu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zbyszko Duda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Lucian Stere took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zbyszko Duda. Zbyszko Duda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zula Scislowicz was the one to do the kick off. Zbyszko Duda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucian Stere in the 53rd minute of the match. Lucian Stere succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-10 in the 58th playminute. In the 64th minute, Lucian Stere left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Steaua Pildesti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-11. Zygmunt Dunajski scored 0-12 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zbyszko Duda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucian Stere received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zbyszko Duda came out and tried to block the shot, but Lucian Stere slotted it home off the left post making it 0-13 in the 74th minute. In the 78th minute Zygmunt Dunajski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszko Duda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zbyszko Duda made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Lucian Stere sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Purple Shadows getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Ryszard Patrylo hit a great ball. In the 91st minute Lucian Stere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszko Duda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 played minutes FC Steaua Pildesti got a freekick which was hit by Robert Antohi. In the 94th minute of the match Pawel Pieprz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marian Văduvescu skillfully saved the ball. In the 95th minute, FC Steaua Pildesti's Lucian Stere dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-15. The FC Steaua Pildesti fans' excitement grew in the 98th match minute when FC Steaua Pildesti's Lucian Stere looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-16 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Purple Shadows fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Steaua Pildesti were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
