In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind INTER de Córdoba's goalkeeper Aquiles Erruki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Amancio Ekain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aquiles Erruki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Lop in the 21st minute of play. Teodosio Lop took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquiles Erruki. Aquiles Erruki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Teodosio Lop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Albin Ånger took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquiles Erruki. Aquiles Erruki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Esteve Harkaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Aquiles Erruki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albin Ånger went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 40 minutes into the match, Albin Ånger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquiles Erruki. INTER de Córdoba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albin Ånger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. If Teodosio Lop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Ånger in the 46th minute of play forced INTER de Córdoba's goalkeeper Aquiles Erruki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Albin Ånger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquiles Erruki was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

In the 90th minute, Albin Ånger reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aquiles Erruki. The goal made the score 0-12. La Zabaleta played a much better game than INTER de Córdoba and deserved their victory. The INTER de Córdoba players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
