Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonidas Orange in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pawel Makarewicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonidas Orange might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pawel Makarewicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonidas Orange ran back to his position shaking his head. Parma Wanderers's Pawel Makarewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Parma Wanderers from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by César Eger got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 20 minutes into the match, S.C.PAULISTA's César Eger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pawel Makarewicz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Leonidas Orange had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Eger in the 27th minute of play forced Parma Wanderers's goalkeeper Pawel Makarewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 played minutes Parma Wanderers got a freekick which was hit by Kirk Perkins. Lucas Maciel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rio Fuller in the 31st minute of play. Leonidas Orange received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Pawel Makarewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Pawel Makarewicz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 43rd minute S.C.PAULISTA were awarded a corner. Jorge Neto went to the cornerflag to take it. S.C.PAULISTA's Jorge Neto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pawel Makarewicz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Leonidas Orange who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Pawel Makarewicz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. S.C.PAULISTA's Leonidas Orange managed to work through Parma Wanderers's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Leonidas Orange dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

César Eger hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Pawel Makarewicz came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C.PAULISTA's Leonidas Orange. But to his dismay, Leonidas Orange quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Leonidas Orange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Parma Wanderers's Pawel Makarewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonidas Orange in the 65th minute of play. When S.C.PAULISTA's Leonidas Orange in 66 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Pawel Makarewicz guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Pawel Makarewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonidas Orange in the 67th minute of the match. Pawel Makarewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonidas Orange, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Parma Wanderers booed when S.C.PAULISTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Bronder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Parma Wanderers's George Munroe was substituted for Kirk Perkins. A collision led to S.C.PAULISTA getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Emil Bronder hit a great ball. The supporters of S.C.PAULISTA booed when Parma Wanderers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrea Strano didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Leonidas Orange had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Russ Hunter hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, César Eger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pawel Makarewicz. Parma Wanderers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that César Eger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Rio Fuller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parma Wanderers's supporters rose to their feet, but Rio Fuller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Maciel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. S.C.PAULISTA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Parma Wanderers for a fine match.
