All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Sjaak Degens made the kick off in the second half. Koos Alberts might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ralondo Barboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Koos Alberts ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 54th minute, Sjaak Degens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buitenhout FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0.
