The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Challestone S.C.'s Gregorio Mel got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute, Depor Alex Return's Felipe Indalecio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Felipe Indalecio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Depor Alex Return protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Felipe Indalecio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When Yan Yuan came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Challestone S.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yan Yuan couldn't finish the play. Mark Ambjörnsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Federico Checa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mark Ambjörnsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Mark Ambjörnsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Federico Checa made a huge save. 12 minutes into the match, Mark Ambjörnsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Federico Checa, 1-0. Federico Checa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Mel, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 18 minutes Depor Alex Return's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yan Yuan who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Challestone S.C.'s Yan Yuan to fire away a dangerous shot which Federico Checa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 25th minute, Challestone S.C.'s Mark Ambjörnsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Federico Checa. Federico Checa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 29 minutes into the match, Jony Maidana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pepe Pancho. Challestone S.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jony Maidana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 38 minutes into the match, Depor Alex Return's goalkeeper Federico Checa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mark Ambjörnsson. After some careless play in the Depor Alex Return defense, Gregorio Mel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Federico Checa. The Depor Alex Return fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Federico Checa should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mark Ambjörnsson got free with Federico Checa in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julio Domeka to strike the kick off in the second half. Depor Alex Return's Federico Checa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Mel in the 54th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gregorio Mel in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Federico Checa saved Depor Alex Return from getting behind. Gregorio Mel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Federico Checa having to make a save. Challestone S.C. made a substitution. Alex Capone replaced Gregorio Mel. Challestone S.C. made a substitution. Claudio Rosato replaced Yan Yuan. After a rather tough play, Challestone S.C.'s Walmir Tasso got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 66th match minute, Depor Alex Return was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Baraquiel to maneuver through the defense. Federico Checa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Capone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Challestone S.C.'s Pepe Pancho got control of the ball when Laureano Olayo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 79 minutes, Mark Ambjörnsson made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Depor Alex Return's Federico Checa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Doriva Pimenta hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mark Ambjörnsson in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Federico Checa saved Depor Alex Return from getting behind. 91 minutes into the match, Mark Ambjörnsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Federico Checa. Depor Alex Return's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mark Ambjörnsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Alex Capone struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Federico Checa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Challestone S.C.. Challestone S.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
