Depor Alex Return's Federico Checa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Cervera in the 19th minute of play. Federico Checa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Cervera's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Candido Ospin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Federico Checa. Depor Alex Return's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Candido Ospin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Los Piratas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ştefan Aluneanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Checa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Los Piratas FC booed when Depor Alex Return was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Baraquiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Domeka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jony Maidana took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martin Abadia. Martin Abadia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herald Roockeloes in the 93rd minute of play forced Depor Alex Return's goalkeeper Federico Checa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th match minute, Depor Alex Return was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jony Maidana to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Los Piratas FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
