In the 13th minute of the match, Gottfrid Sandberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Omar Bemabe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Baraquiel in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dean Dams prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Omar Bemabe came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by RCD CARABANCHEL SAD's Cecilio Tano. But to his dismay, Cecilio Tano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 19 minutes in the game, Gottfrid Sandberg fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Omar Bemabe having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Julio Domeka made a precise shot to the right of Dean Dams. RCD CARABANCHEL SAD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Dean Dams stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Baraquiel's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Omar Bemabe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Gottfrid Sandberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Omar Bemabe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gottfrid Sandberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Omar Bemabe had great luck who in the 36thth minute grab hold of the ball when Gottfrid Sandberg from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Julio Domeka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dean Dams having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Depor Alex Return's zone, Gottfrid Sandberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Bemabe came out of the goal and Gottfrid Sandberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gottfrid Sandberg to make the kick off. Cecilio Tano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th match minute, RCD CARABANCHEL SAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Corderun to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Depor Alex Return booed when RCD CARABANCHEL SAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Washington de Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Felipe Indalecio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armando Baraquiel was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. Depor Alex Return's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Armando Baraquiels short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Dean Dams to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Randle Barry kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Walther Samuelsen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Depor Alex Return's Omar Bemabe didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Baraquiel in the 75th minute of play forced RCD CARABANCHEL SAD's goalkeeper Dean Dams to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Depor Alex Return were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after RCD CARABANCHEL SAD's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felipe Indalecio took the corner. Depor Alex Return's Armando Baraquiel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dean Dams in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Armando Baraquiel came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Depor Alex Return fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Baraquiel couldn't finish the play. If Gottfrid Sandberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dean Dams made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laureano Olayo in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the match, RCD CARABANCHEL SAD's goalkeeper Dean Dams had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jony Maidana. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Cecilio Tano managed to get in a good position for a shot. RCD CARABANCHEL SAD's supporters rose to their feet, but Cecilio Tano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Bemabe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The long shot by Randle Barry in the 91st minute really tested Dean Dams's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
