Mugurel Chiriloaie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gallardo y Biscay FC's zone, Gheorghiţă Hagi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiran Piedra came out of the goal and Gheorghiţă Hagi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gheorghiţă Hagi got free with Tiran Piedra in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benvide Ponte might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Heigo Mustkivi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benvide Ponte ran back to his position shaking his head. 8 minutes into the match, Tapa Athlétic™'s goal looked a bit too open when Benvide Ponte came free, but Heigo Mustkivi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute of the match, Mugurel Chiriloaie tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tiran Piedra saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mugurel Chiriloaie in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tiran Piedra, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The throw-in from Samuel Cordarell in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Gallardo y Biscay FC's Hansmorten Adelsbro. Benvide Ponte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benvide Ponte in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Heigo Mustkivi saved Tapa Athlétic™ from getting behind. Heigo Mustkivi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benvide Ponte's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. With an all-out effort, Tapa Athlétic™'s Tiran Piedra threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mugurel Chiriloaie, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 24th minute, Benvide Ponte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gallardo y Biscay FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Heigo Mustkivi came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Gallardo y Biscay FC's Benvide Ponte. But to his dismay, Benvide Ponte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Herbert Rakke lost his temper 33 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 32 minutes into the game, one of Tapa Athlétic™:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 38th minute, Benvide Ponte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gallardo y Biscay FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 45 minutes into the match, Gallardo y Biscay FC's goalkeeper Tiran Piedra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mugurel Chiriloaie. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amado Sindo was the one to do the kick off. Tiran Piedra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugurel Chiriloaie in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Tapa Athlétic™ were awarded a corner. Madis Indrekson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Gallardo y Biscay FC's goalie and right to Gheorghiţă Hagi. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Gallardo y Biscay FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 58 minutes into the game, Hando Laaneoks threw the ball into play from the sideline. Gallardo y Biscay FC's Ruperto Gentza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to Gallardo y Biscay FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ruperto Gentza hit a great ball. With his leg Heigo Mustkivi managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Gallardo y Biscay FC's Benvide Ponte fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Benvide Ponte scored 0-4 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Heigo Mustkivi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tapa Athlétic™'s Heigo Mustkivi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Tapa Athlétic™ from getting a goal against them. Heigo Mustkivi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benvide Ponte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Benvide Ponte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Heigo Mustkivi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Tapa Athlétic™ made a substitution. Paulino Oyarzún replaced Vahur Nirk. 78 minutes into the match, Gallardo y Biscay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Muusik came free, but Tiran Piedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heigo Mustkivi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benvide Ponte in the 80th minute of play. If Benvide Ponte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gallardo y Biscay FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benvide Ponte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tiran Piedra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Federico Colas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Heigo Mustkivi came out and tried to block the shot, but Federico Colas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 96th minute. Gallardo y Biscay FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
