Doriva Pimenta's late challenge caught a Spartak de Txurdi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doriva Pimenta helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th minute, Alex Răduț got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Horacio Hernandez notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Depor Alex Return's Omar Bemabe. Omar Bemabe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Jony Maidana took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Pietro Benito to make any attempt to save it. Pietro Benito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Domeka in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jony Maidana in the 24th minute of play forced Spartak de Txurdi's goalkeeper Pietro Benito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Pietro Benito successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Spartak de Txurdi's Pietro Benito got control of the ball when Laureano Olayo tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Liberto Merino to strike the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the game, Depor Alex Return's Jony Maidana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pietro Benito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Depor Alex Return's Omar Bemabe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Depor Alex Return from getting a goal against them. Omar Bemabe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Răduț's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Pietro Benito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Olayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Domeka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Pietro Benito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89 minutes Spartak de Txurdi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Justino Chucho who took care of the corner kick. Filipe Meneses kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 95th match minute, Spartak de Txurdi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Meneses to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Spartak de Txurdi defense, Jony Maidana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pietro Benito. The Spartak de Txurdi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pietro Benito should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Depor Alex Return players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
